Arte de Ação
In 1956, the modern artist Flávio de Carvalho went out of the theater Cine Marrocos, in the center of São Paulo, wearing his own design, New Look, being part of his experience #3. In the same scene of the Movimento Antropofágico, Flávio criticized the way the Brazilian culture incorporated the foreign culture. The New Look was created as an answer to the necessity of a real tropical dress, and this new style was digested acidly. Maximo Barros, a 87 years old cineast, was present in that day and describes his experience, carrying his interpretation fully of elements which reflect the reverse black and white appearance of the same streets in nowadays.
